Why I Finally Opened a Lifestyle Photography Page (And Why It Matters to You)

For years, I tried to juggle multiple Instagram accounts. One for my personal life, one for boudoir, and another for family and lifestyle photography. It seemed like the right thing to do. After all… boobies and babies don’t exactly belong on the same feed. 😉

The reality? It became overwhelming.

Every account needed attention, fresh content, engagement, and consistency. Whenever one account started growing, another would fall behind. Instead of serving my clients better, I found myself spending more time trying to manage social media than doing what I truly love, creating meaningful photographs.

That was when I made the decision to niche down and focus primarily on boudoir photography.

It has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my business. Boudoir has become my passion, and there is nothing more rewarding than hearing women say, “When I think of boudoir, I think of Stephanie.” Helping women see themselves in a completely new light is something I never take for granted.

But there was one unexpected consequence.

As my boudoir business flourished, many people assumed I had stopped photographing everything else.

The truth is… I never did.

Photography has always been about people and the moments that matter most. I still adore photographing growing families, adventurous toddlers, quiet newborn snuggles, couples in love, engagements, weddings, maternity sessions, graduates, branding sessions, and all of the beautiful milestones that make up your story.

Life isn’t just one chapter.

It’s every chapter.

That’s why I’ve decided to open a dedicated lifestyle photography page.

While Stephanie Cafik Photography will continue to specialize in luxury boudoir photography, my new page is where I’ll be sharing all of the beautiful moments happening outside the studio. It’s a place for families, couples, motherhood, weddings, and everyday memories that deserve to be preserved just as much as the extraordinary ones.

Whether you’re celebrating a new baby, updating family portraits, saying “I do,” or simply wanting photographs of this season of life before it slips away, I’d be honoured to tell your story.
